From Avengers to Halo Infinite to Animal Crossing, these are the games we can’t wait to play.
2019 may not go down as one of the best years in gaming, but hey, at least we got Untitled Goose Game. The 2010s, however, represented a large step forward for the industry, with titles like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Batman: Arkham series, and Last of Us raising the bar for the medium overall. Now, we’re heading into a new decade. The console market is quickly shifting. The Xbox Series X is bringing heavy-duty tech that rivals the power of even the strongest PC towers. But offerings like the Nintendo Switch are showing triple-A companies that gamers don’t always want to be tied down by their big console boxes. Google recognized that and just established the first competitive console offering that is virtually console free, Stadia; it’s completely web-based. So there’s really no telling where the industry is heading in the coming years.
Thankfully, regardless of where it goes, we already know that there are some fantastic video games in our near future. Between forward-thinking VR titles, indie games, long-anticipated triple-A franchises, and a new Animal Crossing (!!), 2020 looks like it’s going to be a good year. Even considering all the delays. And who knows, we may even get a Breath of the Wild 2.
Everyone can join VR games these days. Marvel has tried it a few times before, but Iron Man VR seems to really be able to make some noise. Ideas just feel right. With a helmet and two handhelds, it’s like VR for Ironman.
A new crossing animal! 2020! For Nintendo Switch! Gamers will be happy for this. It will be a cultural revelation. It will inspire a new holiday, called the National Gamers’ Day. Once a year, gamers will celebrate that glory as Animal Crossing.
Doom Eternal
Release Date: March 20 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch
I don’t know how many times the world needs to be saved from demons, but it seems the destruction hasn’t stopped yet. Fortunately, this is a very interesting direct sequel to restarting Doom from 2016. So it will probably be a hell of a good time (sorry).
Resident Evil games continue to be made and remade, many times, over the years. Capcom’s latest entertainment game targeted 1999 games on the PS3. This time, the zombies looked even more spooky than before. Somehow after all these years, these games are still very good and extremely spooky.
The seventh entry in the Final Fantasy series is one of the most beloved video games in industry history. We waited years to remake, and it’s finally here. Let’s hope Square Enix can really pull it off.
The Last of Us is one of the most influential games of the past few decades. It not only changes the landscape of the industry but it also moves legally. Predictions are high for this.
Marvel’s Avengers
Release Date: September 4 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia
This is the last game that can disrupt gaming. Square Enix’s new Avengers titles, and Crystal Dynamics, will be released on May 15 … and then continue to be updated … indefinitely. And not just with small DLC updates. It will receive new characters, stories, and quests, so there’s no reason to do a sequel. This could change the way the whole industry works.
Cyberpunk 2077
Release Date: September 17 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia
Keanu Reeves is present in this game. Keanu Reeves. He is in this game. Who is in this game? Keanu Reeves !!!
Halo Infinite
Release Date: Winter 2020 Platform: Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC
Hey! They’re still making Halo games! It’s still a thing! The classic shooter that first brought you and your friends into the world of online gaming is coming back for a sixth entry into the main series. Just when we thought it was time to say goodbye to the franchise, Microsoft will unveil yet another promising sequel that will have fans saying “Halo!” (sorry again).
In most video games, you are saving people. In this game, you are killing them. With a ray gun. The remake of THQ romp will allow you, once again, to destroy the world as a wise little alien guy. It’s about time.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
Release Date: 2020 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch
Somehow, after all these years, LEGO continues to create the best Star Wars games. Their little toy adventure is hilarious, stupid and irresistible just like the movies. This game boasts a comprehensive story set by the Vikings to tell the story of the Skywalker family from start to finish.
It has been 10 years since the last No More Heroes game. The stylized franchise is coming back, and it looks great, but I really don’t know what this game is since I went to my high school classmate’s house to check, he never let me play. . I hope it’s good. He always seemed happy.
Watch Dogs Legion
Release Date: 2020 Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia
Finally hackers have their very own video game franchise. This open-world co-op game seems to be the best game ever made. You can hack everything in sight and it allows you to play as a bunch of hackers from all over a surveillance state in London. I can wait to hack!
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Release Date: TBA Platform: PC, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch
Hollow Knight is one of those indie games that all your cool indie gamer friends always tell you to play. It’s the kind of game that, when you actually end up buying it, makes you mad, because the game is as good as they said it is, and you hate when they’re right. Anyway, this one’s the sequel to the first one.
Overwatch 2
Release Date: TBA Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch
What is Overwatch 2? We have no idea! It looks just like Overwatch 1! It seems like there’s finally going to be a single-player campaign in this one, so that’s exciting. Fortnite stole a big part of Overwatch’s fanbase, so maybe with a more dedicated single-player focus, the OG whimsical shooter can win some fans back. Hopefully. Fortnite is getting annoying as hell. 2020 cannot come sooner!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons trades city life for the big island
Nintendo has finally given Animal Crossing fans what they want. In a Nintendo Direct in September 2018, the company announced (through a short introduction) that Animal Crossing would be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019.
Unfortunately, that news was reversed when Nintendo’s Yoshiaki Koizumi announced that the game would be delayed until March 20, 2020 during the company’s Nintendo Direct E3 2019 presentation.
While Nintendo Direct and Koizumi brought us some disappointing news at the show, they also gave us a first look at the actual gameplay, plus some necessary story details about What we are doing on the island and why.
Bringing Animal Crossing to the Switch will entice old and new fans, plus we think this game is a perfect match for Nintendo Nintendo hybrid consoles. The nature of the Crossing Animal sandbox makes it ideally suited for long sessions on your TV, as well as short bursts while on the Switch’s handheld mode.
This is what we know so far about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
[Update: Famitsu is creating some excitement with Animal Crossing with some brand new screenshots. Check them out for yourself below.]
Cut to chase
What is it? The latest addition to the Animal Crossing series When can I play it? March 20, 2020 What can I play it on? Nintendo Switch
Animal Crossing: New Horizon Release Date
With both a great disappointment for the fans and a great relief for those working in the game, Nintendo recently announced that New Horizons will be available on March 20, 2020. We have will probably hear more about the game later this year, probably around September and October when Nintendo leaves the next Nintendo Direct.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons trailer
Nintendo brings 2020 with an all-new Animal Crossing trailer. It’s a short 30-second video but it’s naturally very captivating and fans will see some familiar excited faces in the crowd during the Nook presentation.
September 2019 brought an entirely new game trailer that gives us a better idea of what we can expect from island life between manufacturing, decoration and shopping.
While not much is known, the game’s first trailer was re-aired in September 2018 – promising a late 2019 release date that we now know won’t happen. However, it serves as a nice introduction to the game and one of its most illustrious characters, Tom Nook.
The much more important trailer came to us throughout E3 2019, when Nintendo omitted a series of new details about the game. Based on the trailer we know that crafting will now play an important role in the game and fine adjustments such as being able to place furniture anywhere on the island will really help make the home for everyone. People who look different from each other – a big step in the direction for a franchise to come out like a little too vanilla.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons news and rumors
New screenshots
Japanese outlet Famitsu has shared some new screenshots from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The images give a glimpse of the game world as well as the day-to-day activities that can be engaged in while there.
Check out some of the images below and find the rest on Famitsu itself.
A look at customisation
A handful of new images from Animal Crossing have emerged online and have been shared by GameXplain. These new images don’t give much away in terms of gameplay but they do give a good insight into the more extensive range of customisation options players will have available to them when creating their New Horizons character. Players will be able to change hair, eyes, mouths, noses and outfits to create a character that suits them and you can see the images in the video gallery below.
Nook Miles
During the game trailer in September 2019, we saw Nook Miles, the game’s new currency that will be alongside Bells. You can earn Nook Miles by performing quests on the island and then you can exchange them for things like recipes and items, though all the things you can get with Nook Miles has not been confirmed yet.
Multiplayer In an interview with IGN, the Animal Crossing development team confirmed that there will be both local and online multiplayer elements in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In the local multiplayer mode, up to four players will be able to play together on an island, each using a single Joy-Con. All players will appear on one screen instead of the split screen setting.
On many online players, things get bigger as up to eight players will be able to play on an island. By talking to each other, Animal Crossing will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch Online application.
Saving Animal Crossing will support auto-save, meaning there is no more fear that Mr. Resetti will come after you when you accidentally reset the game without saving.
Regional setting A neat feature for Animal Crossing fans living in the southern hemisphere was revealed during the Nintendo E3 Treehouse livestream: area! Yes, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players will be able to set up the area they live in, meaning that the seasons in the game will truly reflect the people you are experiencing in real life.
Make We never thought we would say this, but manufacturing will play a major role in the next Animal Crossing game. Shown in the New Horizons trailer above, we see villagers collecting sticks, wood and stones on Tom Nook’s craft bench to create new items such as axes and, let’s say, fishing poles. Without setting up shop on the island, we think this is how we will have new furniture and stuff in the game.
Agriculture Although it doesn’t have to be as deep as the farming system seen in the beloved Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing has a small mechanic going on. In the trailer, we can see villagers harvesting petals from around a tree, which we assume is either used as a construction material or used to grow more flowers on the island.
House extension One of the key game-play mechanics in Animal Crossing is building your residence – something we will continue to see in the New Horizon. The first thing you will have to do when you get to the island is to set up a tent. Similar games in the franchise have started this way, but it looks like you will hold the tent for a longer period of time in New Horizons.
Officially announced Nintendo officially announced Animal Crossing for the Switch in a Nintendo Direct in September 2018.
Nintendo brand In January 2018, it was revealed that Nintendo had registered the new Animal Crossing brand in Japan for a variety of purposes, including software for home video game consoles, handheld video game consoles and electric devices. smart phone. Now, we have smartphone app in the form of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, but we haven’t seen handheld and home gaming consoles. A Nintendo Switch release will tick both boxes.
Likewise, the brand also includes stuffed animals, gaming consoles, table games, playing cards, protective cases and card games, so it’s clear that Nintendo still has big plans. for this series.
It has been a long time since the last mainline release The last Animal Crossing release was New Leaf throughout 2012. That was seven years ago and, before the usual release gap for major titles was about three to five years, we tended to say that we due a new game.
What’s more interesting is that the Wii U never received a major title (no, the Amiibo Festival completely doesn’t count) despite the fact that many fans expect to see one. Maybe Nintendo has started working on Animal Crossing’s Wii U or is steadily waiting to launch one for the Switch.
Success of previous versions Previous versions of DS and 3DS Animal Crossing have been selling well for Nintendo – both Wild World and New Leaf surpassed 11 million sales. While there’s a warning that previous home console versions for the GameCube and Wii are almost impossible, we tend to say that the Switch will create a trend here thanks to its hybrid nature. and Nintendo will have a big push.
With one of Nintendo’s most solid handheld games, Pokemon, now confirmed to be coming to Switch, we don’t think it’s likely the company will continue to maintain Animal Crossing on 3DS for much longer.
What we want to see from Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Wider, more dynamic, actors We love our Animal Crossing neighbors, but there, there’s no denying that they can become somewhat similar. It is a problem that is not helped by repeated interactions. We would love to see a new Animal Crossing that introduces many new faces to the neighborhood and perhaps include a few other ways to get to know them. Seeing more dialogue and a more rounded personality will make us very happy.
Add furniture The decoration in Animal Crossing is one of the biggest and best parts of the series (just look at Happy Home Designer to find evidence of that). But, we want to see more furniture appear in a new game. New styles and themes will be welcome, perhaps with more customization options.
Space is wider or more area With the power that Switch provides, we think we can get the largest and most expanded Animal Crossing ever. Although we love Animal Crossing as all about being in a small town, we also enjoyed moving to a city vibe that accompanies New Leaves. In Animal Crossing on Switch, we wanted to take it further, but it’s nice to see some new areas or districts in town that offer a few more amenities or places to visit.
More opportunities to create your own story Moving to mayor is one of the best aspects of New Leaf, but we want to see something a little different in the next section. Perhaps more choices in your role in town. Pocketcamp allows players to take on the role of camp owner, so perhaps in a new main game, we may see a few more career options.
Of course, for those interested in continuing along the mayor’s path there is still there, but it is also interesting to see the shop owners or cafe owners opening. Create your own designs or craft furniture to sell to locals or collect ingredients from your town and others to add some interesting flavors to your cafe menu. – all of these sounds are like interesting pursuits in Animal Crossing.
Mobile link Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is a welcome release after we’ve seen anything in this series, but it doesn’t scratch it enough for us due to its superficiality. However, that doesn’t mean we want to see mobile games completely abandoned when a mainstream release launches.
It would be great if Nintendo managed to connect the releases on mobile devices and consoles together in some way so that players could better understand mobile games and give us a Other ways to enjoy the console release. Whether it’s unlocking and moving items, making money or improving relationships, we’ll be like a way to keep playing even on days when we can bring the Switch. Now that we’ve found it possible with Pokemon Let Go, our hopes are even higher.
You will have to wait about another month to receive Shinra, as FFVII’s release date on PS4 is pushed back.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake for PlayStation 4 has been delayed since its March 3 release. A note from producer Yoshinori Kitase said FFVII’s new release date has been set for April 10, to give the group some extra time to improve.
“We are making this tough decision to give ourselves a few more weeks to apply the final polish to the game and give you the best experience possible,” Kitase said in a message from studio. “I, on behalf of the team, want to apologize to everyone, because I know this means waiting a little longer for the game. Thanks for your patience and continued support.”
The long-awaited release of the remake isn’t really the full version of the game. Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released as a non-fiction, dividing the game into separate sections. This first part includes the Midgar part of the original game.
Recently, game demos have been leaked and codified, leading to vandals circulating on the internet. We even saw the opening movie, a nostalgic pastime of the original 1997 classic. Square Enix did not comment on when the demo could be released to the public. To know more about FF7 Remake, check out everything we know so far.
This is one of two Square Enix games announcing the delay almost simultaneously. The other is Marvel’s Avengers, which was pushed to September. It was planned in advance for May.

The fifth map for PlayerUn Unknown The battlefield game is about to be released, and it is called Karakin. After a few initial teasers, developer PUBG Corp confirmed this name on social media today and provided a very short video of the new active map. The studio has provided a lot of details about how Karakin will be coming out, but it looks like it will replace Vikendi during Season 6.
Karakin seems to be located in North Africa or the Middle East – anyway, it’s a desert map with at least one small village nestled in hilly terrain, and there are also some caves for you to jump on. to enter. Besides the official new map and PUBG season 6 teasing, leaked information and data suggest that it will be a 2×2 location and a mechanic destroying all buildings in the ‘Black Zone.
The leaks also suggest that Vikendi will be removed from the game, and that is now confirmed. The Vikendi committee will spin around when Season 6 begins, but not for long, the PUBG community manager tweeted earlier today. You can of course still play Vikendi in custom matches. We will have more information soon. Spinning Rounds might have something to do with the launch of Karakin.
We do not know when Karakin will attack the servers directly, but it may soon appear on the test server. The official word from PUBG Corp on Reddit is that Motor Glider is the only new content to be live streamed this week, but the test server is a different story and you will hear more about that soon.
I think I like zombies better with the Headcrab attached
For the first time since Half-Life: Alyx buried its beak through the face and into our dream, we could have the first new images of the game. Valve News Network, a fan channel that specializes in detecting leaks from Half-Life’s house, posted a new video containing what channel creator Tyler McVicker described as the new Half-Life: Alyx screen. The video shows a total of nine images, although we regret there’s no way to verify them.
McVicker says the screens have leaked from an internal source from Valve and they show everything from static environmental details to new, clear uniforms for the Combine Nazi aliens. You will need to watch the video yourself to see all the images, but these are the three images that get my attention the fastest.
This still shows a scene introduced in the teaser trailer, but it also includes the new uniforms I’m talking about. These armies seem to have lighter uniforms with distinct patches on their shoulders. The trailer uses this scene to represent a great opportunity for Half-Life: Watch Alyx’s VR hand – that is, raise your hand when a bunch of grumbling activists point their guns at you – but here we have can see it – for free.
This image enlarges into a combined “Infestation Control” sign. It has a strong “Warning, wet floor” vibe but with Xen monsters instead of plain tiles. I loved the small detail of the soldier who combined the darkness exploding at a tentacle-free animal. Obviously Infestation Control does not work well, as you will be able to know from the next screen.
Speaking of which, consider this a gore warning before you scroll any further. The final screenshot depicts some very disturbing body horrors.
It was really crude.
Not having enough skin or organs or anything.
Ok, good, here it is.
We have seen zombies except Headcrab before, but we have never seen them in details such abdominal pain. Watch for subcutaneous fat around the opening of the chest ribs. Blugh. This image leads to the fact that, despite the name, the zombies of Half-Life are not immortal monsters – they are living hosts of alien parasites. However, you are probably making them a favor by shooting the toilet on them until they die.
Again, no screenshots have been confirmed as legal from Valve, so please take all of them and any details they might suggest with a grain of salt. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to see Half-Life: Alyx itself – it will launch in March.
Don’t have a PC ready for VR? Valve has not ruled out the console version Half-Life: Alyx.
Legends of Runeterra, a card game set in the League of Legends universe, reveals its open beta release date
The Legends of Runeterra beta, a card game in the League of Legends universe, will arrive for players on January 23, if they pre-register, from 11AM PT / 7 PM GMT.
To register in advance, just visit the official website and follow the instructions there, even if you are looking to play on a mobile device. Not only will playing in the beta give early access to the game, but all your progress will continue as the game launches. In addition, you will receive a free moonstruck guard as a gift when participating in it.
The game is expected to be released in 2020 but so far no release date has been confirmed. Riot Games, the developer, has promised that it will reveal more about the release date: later this year. As we know more, you will know more!
Legends of Runeterra is a card game set in Runeterra, in the universe with the League of Legends. It has characters and abilities from the League but that’s where the similarity ends. If you’ve played Hearthstone, Gwent or Pokemon Trading Card Game then you will be more familiar with the game than any League player.
So far, only cosmetics make money. That means, unlike other card games, you can pay for full packs of cards, you can only unlock them through the game. The open beta will have a ranked play feature, but be warned, it’s still a beta so that sometimes things can (and will) fail.
If Legends of Runeterra sounds like your cup of tea, check out the official website for more info, videos, tutorials and updates.
And if you’re into digital card games, you should check out Hearthstone, which dropped some nerfs last week.
